Bottle from Beer in a Box. Classic Imperial Stout with firm roasted malt, dark chocolate, ash, and some coffee. Rather bitter flavour with a light sweetness. Medium body. Ashy coffee bitter finish.

Geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel donkerbruin bier met een medium bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma hop. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, hop en een hint gedroogd fruit.

Goede Kant van het Spoor & Brouwerij Vogelvrij Railhawk Tarwewijn.
Bottle at home. Brown color, small white to off-white head. Aroma is yuk, very odd, cinnamon, vanilla, herbal and spices. Flavor has it too, very very herbal, spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, sweet hints of something red fruit coming through with candy sugar notes, figs, alcohol, bitter in the finish. A real winter ale I'd say. Not really my kind of beer tbh. Too many spices. 6-3,5-5,5-6-5

Bottle at home. Dark red to purple color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweet but a nice sweetness, definitely seems to have some barrel aging going on but quite subtle, brown candy sugar, lightly boozy. Overall very nicely balanced and quite tasty. Another nice one from GKvhS!
