Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is smokey with ash, peated whiskey, roasted malt, tar, coffee, hint of liquorice. Moderate bittersweet flavour, medium to full body with a little alcohol. Nicely done, burnt and smokey.

Bottle at Maakun, thanks! Hazy amber color, average sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, somewhat fruity, prunes. Flavor is malts, a bit dusty bitter, light iron, distant sweetish notes with a floral hint in the background. Hmm average at best.

Sampled @ Van Moll Fest 2025. Opaque black color, medium sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, bruichladdich BA is heavily featured with the peat. Flavor is malts, medium to heavy peat, band aid, distant tart, iodine, dark malt bitter, peat and bitter in the finish. Good barrel aging, definitely adds another layer to the beer. Good. 8-8-8-8-8

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donker roodbruin bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en drop. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, chocolade, toffee en gedroogd fruit.
