Growler to tulip.
Appearance: golden yellow to orange color, mild transparency, one and a half fingers of white foamy head which died off and didn't leave any lace.
Aroma: some citrusy and piney hops trying intertwine with the caramel/toffee malt.
Flavor: takes the prior mentioned aromas to try to blend but seems a bit more to and fro between the bitterness and the sweetness, aftertaste of caramel malts and hops which do not fully blend
Texture: light to medium bodied, more of a sipper, astringent, finishes somewhat piney
Overall: in a world full of IPA's, I don't really see myself coming back to this unless the recipe was revised.

Growler to mug.
Appearance: dark brown color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some messy lace
Aroma: rich nutty sweetness, caramel/toffee malts, sweet earthiness, some coffee tones and a whiff of baker's chocolate
Flavor: good sturdy sweet meshing of the prior mentioned aromas; mild aftertaste of earthy to nutty and caramel tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, mild smoothness, clean finish of nuts, earthiness and dry coffee tones
Overall: good brown ale, seems to lean a bit more English than an American style but I would have again.

5 oz. pour on tap at the brewery. Hazy light brown with nice head, good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong pine and caramel malt. Taste is strong caramel malt, pine. Smooth, medium body, soft carbonation and finish as taste. While not a bitter bomb, which I appreciate, more malty than piney.

5 oz. pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Lightly hazy maple syrup brown, no sparkle, thin head with fair retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is strong toffee and earthy roasted malt. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, medium bodied and dry finish as taste. Not complex but good strength.

5 oz. pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Clear, iced tea brown, no sparkle, thin head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong winter ale. Taste is winter ale-esque, with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and a hint of pepper. Smooth, creamy texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nice winter ale--good complexity with good balance and strength.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous hops, loads of butterscotch, OK. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with resinous hops, light treacle, light fusel alcohol, seems a bit infected.
