50cl can as a gift. Clear pale golden with a modest, white head. The usual light grainy aroma with hints of cooked vegetables and lightly grassy notes. Light, watery and not much flavour at all.

On tap at Saeta Svinid in Reykjavik. Amber color, white frothy head. Aroma is caramel, old shoe, a bit sulfuric. Taste is mildly bitter, buttery near the end. Not my thing.

On tap at Saeta Svinid in Reykjavik. Dark brown. Creamy thin head. Aroma of burnt toast, coffee, occasional hints of skunk. Taste dominated by a burnt bitterness. Body is full, smooth, rich. Finishes with coffee. Not bad.

Draught at Ìslenski baring. Clear amber colour with a golden hues. Thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with nuts, caramel malts and a lightly toasted note. Some butter. Taste is light sweet. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity bitter. Classical no fuzz brown ale.

Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly drying with caramel malts and green apples. Pleasent EPA.

Draught at Harbour House Cafe, Siglufjörđur. Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet roasted aroma with bread, coffee, liquorice and chocolate. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted bitter with coffee and bread. Solid Porter.
