Medium white head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Is there any aroma? Perhaps I can detect some mealy paper. Or perhaps it’s just my imagination. Hard to say. Dryish mealy papery taste, vaguely acidic. (Interesting. First, deleted rating, five years earlier, was also acidic.) Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy rubbery aftertaste with strawy notes. Nearly perfectly flavourless. They should call it Thule Ice, but I guess that would be redundant. Not much off flavours, though. (0.33l can, Vinbudin Akureyri.)

First rating was infected, or in some way ruined. Deleted that rating.

Can. It pours a clear, yellowish pale golden body under a fine-bubbled white head. Weak nose with fruits and malts and a little orange-like sourness. Some orange notes in the flavor too, some some sourness, and pale malts and some hoppy fruityness doing most of the job. Not that they have much job to do, it’s a rather weak flavor too. The finish is short and weak, with some grains and fruityness. Not much bitterness here either. Thin body. A thin and boring beer lacking on most things. I didn’t even find it very refreshing. Can. A pale golden beer with a medium sized, collapsing, white head. Pale malt, some fruits, and hints of dms in the rather weak aroma. The flavor is sweetish, weak, with some fruits. Virtually no bitterness. Thin, almost papery mouthfeel with a pleasant carbonation. Short, weak finish with just a touch of bitterness. At least it’s not a bad beer, it’s just lacking on most things, and is really, really boring. (090412)

Can. A clear, slighlty pale golden beer with a finger thick white head on top. Hayish, grassy nose with some pale malts and a hint of fruity, spicy hops. Medium body with a good carbonation. Dry, with biscuity malts, grassy, spicy hops and some hay. Quite low on bitterness. Short finish with some bitterness and a little maltyness. A quite tasteful one, at least considering the style, but it’s nothing impressing about it. Just a clean, boring lager like many others. (090418)
