Canned. Small white head, pale yellow colour. Aroma is malts, saltwater and slightly maizeish swet. Flavour has a lot of the same. A rather uninspiring brew.

330 ml bottle given to me by haukur. Pour is black with only faint deep brown highlights. Deep tan head, 1 inch thick, falls fast. Only some thin lacing. Aroma of coffee roasted malt and some sweet nuttiness. Taste is mostly about the roasted malt, with some of the sweet nuttiness. Also a bit of dark chocolate is present in the taste. The finish has some nice pine hoppiness to it. The palate is a bit on the thin side, a touch watery with a fair amount of carbonation. Overall this is a well made stout that seems to be much needed in Iceland. Thank you haukur for giving me this bottle before it was even publicly available!

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and towards pale yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild cornish, light sweet. Flavour is medium sweet cornish with almost no malt base. Light cornish finish. Certainly drinkable but doesn’t provide much flavour.

500 ml can with dinner at Narfeyrarstofa, Stykkishólmur, Iceland. Pour is very clear pale yellow, fizzy white head. Aroma is nothing really, maybe some faint corn. Taste is watery, some corn graininess in the finish. Overall, not really that good, though it was thirst quenching.

500 ml can purchased at the Vín Búð - Austurstræti, Reykjavik, Iceland. Pour is clear pale yellow-golden with a bunch of fine carbonation and a sudsy 2 inch white head that falls fast. Aroma of mild malty corniness. Taste is sweet corn, and sour-metallic. Chemical menthol in the finish. This was the worst beer I had in Iceland, not good at all.

Gold 500 ml can purchased at the Vín Búð - Kringlan, Reykjavik, Iceland. Pour is clear pale yellow golden with a big fluffy white head. Tons of carbonation bubbles. Aroma of fruity sweet malt and some corn graininess. Taste is pretty blah, straight forward Pale Lager. Some corniness to the finish. Not much too this one.
