16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks big killa! Flavor is slight chocolate, raisins, and a bolder earthy malt backbone. Yeast comes through only slightly toward the back end of the sip. Overall, it is earthy with notes of dark fruit and cocoa. Nice example of the style.

Flavor has the char, molasses like in the center. Very subtle bitterness in a thick full body. Dry roasted texture. Quality base imperial stout.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Aroma shows a bold amount of apricot, mango, malt. Problem with huge IPA’s can be the sweetness from the malt. Maybe this may have been fine but for some reason the brewer then used lactose. Sweet and boozy. Hard pass on this.

Can from the Craft Beer Cellar Belmont Inky black in color with a frothy tan head that persists. Rich roasty chocolate with bits of earthy hop, dark dried fruits and a light nuttiness. Pretty nice sipper a hint on the sweet side.

Can (19351 at bottom) pour into nonic pint glass from The Beeracks. Appearance is opaque light brown-dark yellow with minimal sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and trace leggy lacing. Aroma is mild-to-moderately strong sweet and tart fruit, melon, grape, yeast, hint of herb. Taste is moderate herb, champagne-like yeast (like a brut IPA), background cracker malts, late faint lemony citrus. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish. Overall, taste not as interesting as the aroma, though is somewhat different. Neither aroma nor taste is all that strong, which maybe makes sense for 4.0 ABV. A bit too carbonated. Decent for a crusher but leaves hints of what could be so much more.

Can pour from The Beeracks. Appearance is opaque orange-light brown with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and light sudsy lacing. Aroma is floral, pineapple and citrus. Taste is citrus, evergreen, mild floral perfume. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, mild acidic astringency, pleasant alcohol warmth and crisp, fairly dry finish as taste with light lingering bitterness. Overall, a fairly unique and pleasant mix of aromas and flavors and nice qualities on the palate. Enjoyable.

Can pour from the brewery (born 6/14/19). Appearance is attractive opaque cranberry red with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, several dark solids (1/4 stick-like cylinders) that sink quickly to the bottom of the glass, fizziness that never produces a head. Aroma is strong ginger and lemon. Taste is initial dry, yeasty tart quality quickly followed by the sweet lemon and ginger. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, fizzy carbonation and finish as taste with combination of sweet, tart and mild bitter. Overall, something for the crowd that wants a hard seltzer--there's no underlying beeriness here--it is entirely something else. Very attractive looking (save for the dark sticks at the bottom) and well made with some complexity but not a style I'm interested in having when craving a beer.
