Brewery draught, 4/8/22. Light mahogany with ruby tints. Beige head fades quickly to ring. High clarity. Fruity, fairly malty nose shows classic yeast strain notes of date, raisin, clove and white pepper. Malts add a pinch of caramel and various breads. No alcohol or flaw. Low-to-moderate malt suppleness, very high attenuation and with ample fruity and spicy esters and phenols appropriate to the style. They seem to have got good fermentation character here, though it feels borderline over-attenuated/thin. Still, it's clean and not full of nasty bubble gum/clove/banana.

Brewery draught, 4/8/22. Fully turbid, lime-bronze-golden with no head. Moderate citra-like juiciness with hints of cheese and bubble gum. Biscuity-doughy malts and no alcohol or twang/resin. Similar flavor with a ton of texture but low malt character. Somewhat juicy hops add various citrus and the yeast shows moderate fruit/bubble gum. Maybe a touch of onion. A bit thin on the actual malt character and more bitterness than juiciness, but it's passable, if somewhat uninspired.
Candied orange, grass, pine.

4 oz. at the source. Aroma is mild floral and citrus. The texture is almost juicy. Kind of a dry grassy note in the finish. The body is much better than the other 3 beers I tried directly before this one. The brewer is taking a step in the right direction with this one.
