Monday Run club at Lost Shoe. Pretty amber pour clear and beige head. Nose is caramel and paper. Tastes of brown sugar, caramel, leafs, creamy palate. Delicious.

Brewery nitro draft, 1/20/22. Clear, mahogany-hazelnut. Dark beige head, persistent. Can't get much nose through the nitro head. Vanilla, spice, watery but delicious coffee, lettuce and very, very little dark malt character. Lightly sweet, honey-toffee malts with eat zero bitterness. Lactose is more texture than flavor which is great. Body is very light, watery but not anything unusual for style/gravity. Pretty nice. Dry at least, which is more than you can say for their IPAs.

Brewery draft, 1/20/22. Mildly to moderately hazy, peachy-gold-apricot. Small, flimsy, white head. Pineapple, peach and nectarine with a playful fruitiness. Biscuits malt. Tangy and buttery. The diacetyl gives a graham cracker like character in concert with the malt. Not as sweet as their last IPA I had but still not the dryness I expect in beer. Hops are pretty fruity, playful but painfully scarce. Still, aside from the diacetyl, it's ok.

Draught, brewery, 1/20/22. Mildly hazy, blonde-golden. Small, flimsy, white head. Like the spruce tips in the nose. Apparent but not overdone. Somewhat too easily integrated in the piney, sprucey hops but that's fine with me. Light citrus and bits of biscuit and honey. No flaw or alcohol. Heavily sprucey flavor with soft, dense, almost cakey-sweet malts. Thankfully the bitterness of the hops help cut some of this but it's a bit crude with all this spruce and sugar, nonetheless. Could use more hop notes and more dryness.
