North taproom draught, 10/15/22. Mostly clear, deep bronze-brass with a small, white head. Nose is very malty, maybe a bit too sweetly-so? Good dose of white grape, fresh herbs and clean. Good aroma strength and no alcohol or flaw noted. In the mouth it's extremely soft and with rich honey and cakey malts. To that end, while a good pils should have a nice maltiness to it, I think a bit more attenuation here would help. Still, it's clean and well-hopped with light mineral, white grape and fresh, peppery herbal notes.

Draught at North Taproom, 10/15/22. Heavily hazy, pale orange juice/concrete with a small, moderately-retained, white head. Soft, easygoing wheat smooths out any rough edges (doesn't seem to have any). Big juicy hops with hints of tropical fruit and zero sign of onion/scallion/pine/resin or anything remotely unpleasant, just bright, juicy hoppy goodness with a clean yeast and supportive, well-attenuated malts. Soft and juicy, very clean and snappy with tropical fruit, mild but ample bitterness and soft wheat, dainty honey and moderate cracker from the malt. No stand-out notes from the hops, but instead a well-integrated tropical-citrus-juice melange. Stunning balance and great flavor and malt depth. Wow, going to have to go back to Twin Barns and try more soon.

Sample at Derry After Dark. Dark tawny brown with a fizzy off white head that dissipates quickly. Rich toasted toffee and faint caramel maltiness. Dark dried pitted fruits with some earthy hop and light warming alcohol to counter. Great body and medium thick mouthfeel. Very nice sipper

Sample at Derry after Dark Dark gold amber in color. Caramel maltiness is so out of place in this style.

4 ounce sample at the brewery. Mild citrus followed by easy pine. Low bitterness. Like a sierra Nevada pale ale only fresher! Classic APA.

4 oz. at the brewery. Mosaic dominated; grassy, onion, herb. Good texture and almost no bitterness. Lightly grassy. Good for mosaic lovers. I like it. But to really enjoy it, you need to want grass.
