16 oz. can. Aroma is all burnt coffee. Flavor has roast, dark fruit and plenty of over extracted coffee. Body is correct with a bitter coffee bean finish.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with tons of effervescent sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong, sweet lemon, pineapple and melon. Taste is strong sweet/tart pineapple and citrus with second half bready malt presence. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste with lingering bread and yeast. Overall, nice first exposure to this brewer!

8 oz. draft. Aroma has soft citrus, and almost a pine note. The flavor is not of a traditional kolsch. The hops provides all the citrus and pine. It is good. Not Herman inspired at all.

16 oz. can. Aroma is rustic grain, mild pepper and yeast. The flavor is more on the traditional side of the style with a steady amount of citrus. It shows a slight pepper under the citrus with a dry texture over the tongue. Good.
