Bottle pour shared by Clark VV--thanks, Clark! It's a dark brown with ring of off-white head and trace lacing. Aroma is caramel and light tart fruit. Taste is strong tart cherry, caramel. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and strong tart fruit finish as taste. Overall, more tart than is enjoyable for me.

500 ml. Aroma is weak cherry poe filling, soft wood. Flavor is sour cherry with so e mild sourness. The other funny thing is the non-Imperial version has lactose. So this is all over the shitty Untapped map.

Bottle, undated, drunk 2/25/23. Deep cherry-amber, clear, small, off-white head, low retention. Cherry, rhubarb and root beer spices with vanilla, biscuit and honey-like malts. Some acetic character... Wow thats not hiding the bourbon sharpness.. and its boozey. Phew, thats sharp, heavily tart, cherry like but not much personality. At least its not sugary? Tart cherry skin, kinda sour, kinda tart, definitely astringent? Weird.

Thanks Clark aroma is tart cherry, not sugary, not overly tart, nice balance and a good palate cleanser from all the high ABV beers.

Brewery draught, 1/30/23. Clear, deep brass. Small, butter-colored head slowly fades to ring. HUGE muscatel and oak character in the nose. Definitely way, way overdone/over-barreled. Off-putting at first on account of the massive strength of it, though the actual notes are pleasant. Really dont get much of a sense of the beer behind it. Some bready malts, barely even any sourness. Same goes for the flavor. Just way too heavy-handed on the barrel character. It gets a bit better as it breathes/warms but it's still just utterly dominant.

Brewery draught 1/30/23. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Small, white head. Juicy, spicy, lightly tropical, clean yeast and good maltiness adding white bread and biscuit. Not boozey or resinous. Soft, quite malty with a good balance for its size. Not syrupy, hot, sugary or boozey. Juicy with spice and tropical notes behind. Really impressive here; this is one of the hardest beers to pull off, given their penchant for either being too barleywine-like, or too boozey/resinous. Not so here.

Brewery draught 1/30/23. Clear blonde-white-gold. Small, white head, low-to-moderate retention. Initially a bit of doughy yeast, but that's fully passing, leaving gently smoked grains, nutty rye and light herbal hops. Base malt adds delicate honey and there's a touch of lactic tartness on the finish. Soft and malty in the mouth, drinkable and attenuated but not thin with gentle smoke, hops and malt. Great to see so many gradziskies lately and most are done excellently, this including.
