Golden body with white head. Faint but noticeable hop aroma. Hoppish taste, doesn't taste like a 100 IBU beer but still very hoppy. Clear bitter on tongue finish.

Aromas are dark malt, toast and hints of chocolate. Flavors are similar to nose. Bittersweet with crisp carbonation. A bit sweet in the finish. Good but nothing special.

Gold body, a little hazy with thin white head. Light citrus and tropical aroma. Rather full taste with more citrus. Good hop finish.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a very large tan head that persisted. Aroma of roast and chocolate. Med body. Malty but lightly sweet. Some balancing bitter from roast. Some earthy chocolate. Very nice.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark amber pour, mostly clear, thin covering of fine off-white foam. Malty aroma, whole grain bread, toffee. Taste comes in like a slice of toasted brown bread, malty, caramel with a little bit of dryness. Nutty, woody, smooth. I'd love this on cask.

Undated can drunk 2/27/26.
Not sure what a tavern-style stout is, but whatever, it smells rich and roasty with raisin, vanilla, prune and coffee notes and no harsh/acrid roast character. Good base malt to give some chocolate and caramel-like sweetness and round things out. Fruity yeast with good mineral, on the end, as well.
Chewy oats soften the deep roast. Earthy, crunchy, coffee-like character with slight raisin/prune. Very dry stout-like, and indeed quite dry, but a bit more chew to it; less silkiness and classic roast. Obviously intended as a satisfying, highly drinkable, flavorful, mindless drinker, and they've very much nailed that. That said, I could use just a TOUCH more malt depth. As is, the bitterness/roastiness builds up just a bit more than I'd like on the finish.

Aromas are malt, rye bread, burnt sugar and dirty laundry. Flavors are similar to nose and slightly more sweet than bitter with okay carbonation. Full bodied. Fairly true to style from distant memories.

Can from Tavour. Pours a light ruddy color that could be "dilute" mahogany. Moderate creamy tan head that didn't persist. Aroma is toffee/bready. Med body. Malty but fairly towards dry. Moderately bitter. Hop seems floral. If this was cask, it would be spot on.

Bottle from Tavour: pours blackish with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark chocolate, hint of dried figs. Taste is sweetish, roasty and robust. Chewy body. Nice mouth/coated aftertaste. Very good.
