Description
We are independently owned and brew by hand in small batches at our microbrewery in central Stockport. For us, flavour and quality always come first.
As brewers, we respect brewing tradition though our beer is contemporary in style.
As drinkers, we want to enjoy every beer that we make – so for us, brewing isn’t just about the end product, it’s about the process. So it’s worth doing right.

Special Café Beermoth House Beer Birthday Special Beer #1 of 4. Clear golden in colour. Good Green Hop example, not too dry, underlying floralness.

Your Lucky Day In Hell was an Eels single I bought in the same week Princess Diana died. Lower alcohol beer with sweet lemonade masking the aforementioned. It feels more soda than beer, but only just. Its carbonation is the main 'pop' factor given there's plenty of it. Aroma more beer-like. Not a bad choice pick-me-up by any means.

Hazy reddish colour, but named after a place named after THE place rather than its appearance! It certainly has a red ale cask styling with it being a hoppy ale alongside the associated sweetness for this type of brew, and a bitter finish.

Boulder Dash was one of my go to games on the C64. This beer is golden with a mild haziness. Sweet-hoppy, with the emphasis on sweet, which is a mild bubblegum.

I'm a bit perturbed this is the first of this series I've had and they're already up to number 25. Hazy zesty citrus and tropical notes, perhaps a hint of pine too. Better stated aroma than taste where it's a little dry. Crisp.

I never made it out to the suburb of Grodzisk on the one occasion I've visited Warsaw. Lighter golden colour. I've not had a smoked beer for a long time so this really hit the palate hard with a ham and cheese taste, despite no aroma to this effect.

Keg (7.0% ABV) at BrewDog Aberdeen (the original bar). Hazy golden body with a thin white head that fades. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of green banana and apricot. Flavour of white pepper, green banana and yeast. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and bitter - a tasty Belgian blonde.

Dry with a nice burnt toast character, chalky milk chocolate, toasted biscuits, earthy bitterness. Good condition. Dry finish with lingering hop bite, ash.
