Part of a five beer flight at the Beerhouse on 4th December 2023. White crust on a clean amber body. Hop centric with both fruity and piney aspects, not citrussy (which is a welcomed bonus), nice bitter finish.

Part of a five beer flight at the Beerhouse on 4th December 2023. Clear and clean light golden body, white crust. Usual Kolsch non-aroma or taste, just that subtle blend of not enough hops or malts to give a bland but refreshing drink. Typical Kolsch all round!

7/10/2023. Bottle shared at Ulfborg. Pours very dark brown with a very small frothy off white to beige head. Aroma is boozy, toffee, chocolate, dried fruit, malt loaf, wood, hints of plasticine and clay. Quite heavy sweetness with light to moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky, low combination. Super super. Enjoyed this.

7/10/2023. Bottle shared at Ulfborg. Pours very dark brown with a very small frothy off white to beige head. Aroma is boozy, woody, toffee, dried fruits, chocolate, liquorice, vanilla. Moderate sweetness, and medium to heavy bitterness. Quite full bodied, sticky, low carbonation. Boozy and slightly harsh finish, but still enjoyable.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, toasted - roasted, oak, wood, barrel, dark fruit, dried fruit, dried dark fruit, rum, candie. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20231007]

Bottle @Ulfborg. Oily, very dark red brown, tiny beige head. Heavy dark malty aroma, wood, dried fruit, perhaps a little rum. Thick, smooth mouthfeel. Sweet dried fruit and heavy caramely malt flavour. Nice boozy buzz in the finish.
