Brewery draught, 10/28/23. Bright, cherry red. Small ring of bubbles. Clear. Earthy spice, like that base malt, good acidity. Soft and floral with gentle hibiscus and plenty of tea-like notes. Easygoing, light-bodied. Could be a bit more flavorful on both malt and hibiscus. Clean.

Brewery draught, 10/28/23. Clear, medium copper. Small, beige head sits at cover. Spicy, earthy hops with crusty bread and a bit of mineral. Quite an ebullient yet clean yeast. Fruity, malty, good bitterness with a hint of toffee and light honey-like malt. Peppery hops linger with a substantial body and great balance. Very impressed by this brewery.

Brewery draught, 10/28/23. Lightly hazy, lemon-brass. Small ring of white bubbles. Fruity citrus with white bread and a hint of cashmere spice. Clean. Maybe some mango. Soft with a bit of graininess, tea and herbs with easygoing pine and spruce hints from cashmere and a lemon-tangerine citra character. Medium to med-light bodied with moderate maltiness and good attenuation. Clean, flavorful, appropriately bitter. Surprisingly good brewery here.

Brewery draught, 10/28/23. Clear hazelnut with auburn highlights. Creamy, light beige head. Hazelnut and fruity yeast with herbal hops and a decent helping of base malt honey-like character. Clean. Soft, malty, great depth and easygoing sweetness that dries out nicely with yeasty fruit, mild hazelnut and cocoa and lingering herbal hops with low but ample bitterness. Clean and flavorful, not too watery for being in nitro. Great intro to this brewery.

Can pour from the brewery. Appearance is lightly hazy orange-light amber with nice sparkle, 1/2-finger width fizzy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is mix of wet cardboard and fruit. Taste is more amplified version of aroma--stronger fruit and sweet malts, wet leaves. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and sweet finish as taste, late dryness but virtually no bitterness. Overall, a good representative of the style and a nice break from the heavy dose of NEIPA's and stouts I've been having lately.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. I don’t get to sample too many ESB’s these days so this is a nice change up. Aroma is toffee, earthy malt, ale yeast. Flavor is a direct reflection of Toffee, caramel, and earthy malt. Good texture in mouth feel. Exactly what you were expecting the style.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade. Touch of haze is a dark amber beverage with a frothy tan head that slowly recedes. Bready toasty light caramel maltiness with bits of earth to counter. Light fruit decent ESB
