On tap at Parallel 49, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings intense hopping and roasted dry caramel malt - quite intense. Flavour brings out a blast of harsh piney hops, with a thick caramel and bready dry malt base. Robust and well-structured. A rather brutal amber. I like it.

Draught at Parallel 49, Vancouver
Dark red-amber color, creamy head. Nice sweet caramel base with a mild fruity candy layer on top. Robust bitterness in the final. Dynamic. Clean. Nice.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out considerable lacto, with subtle floral dry hopping. Flavour is crisp, with dry floral hops and tons of yogurty lacto. Crisp and not all that sour, just yogurty. Solid for what it is.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light spiciness from the Belgian yeast and subtle biscuity malt. Flavour is quite spicy and vegetal, with notes of celery, floral notes and a strange yeast profile. Then the cucumber comes in slightly, finishing on citrus notes. A bit too vegetal and not enough fresh cucumber. It's okay.

Bottle, Legacy. Hazy straw, thin bubbly head. Subtle fruity note, touch of yeastiness. Dry, sort of a coriander and cucumber note, dry, dusty and malty.

Tasting at SF
Cloudy blond color. Smells of soap and vegetables (steamed fennel, celery…). Dry and earthy, some harshness from the yeast, terribly spicy, vegetable. Smooth carbonation.
Undrinkable.
