Bottle, Legacy. Hazy amber with a bubbly head. Fresh citrusy, woody C-hop nose with bright floral notes as well. Has a nice clean bitterness, balanced C hop character, good malt sweetness and again the more modern floral-type hop notes come into the finish. Fresh-tasting, too. It’s rare to see a basic pale this dialed in - the brewers genuinely care about this beer.

Bottle, Liquor Depot, Port Alberni. Amber and hazy. Thin head. Spicy, coriander elements in the nose. Has a spicy, dry character. Good body, nice biscuity pale malt character. For a young brewery that doesn’t even specialize in Belgians, this is a fine effort.

Bottle from Liquor Depot, Port Alberni. Amber and slightly hazy. Thin head. Nose is fun - gooseberries, pear, a bit of staler, woodier c hop. Tasty, lots of earthy hop with honeyish, floral characteristics. Very drinkable.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark amber with moderate head. Aromas of dried fruit and sweet malts with definite vegetal notes. Very strong vegetal flavor - seems to be a good example of a DMS process problem. Drainpour.

Draught at Darby’s Public House, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color. The aroma is lightly floral and malty. The mouthfeel is dry, not weak; the dry malt flavor and hopping are ordinary. Correct bitterness. A bit metallic in the final.
Clean but simple Pale Ale.

Bottle - Earthy and orange with some biscuit notes. Clear gold with a rich off white head. Orange hops, light biscuit and some light bitterness. Not bad, not as hoppy as described, but that could be the age. Very dry finish.
