Can pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Opaque cola brown with thin beige head fading to ring and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt over coffee. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, soft carbonation, finish as taste with only mild bitterness. As it should be. Good strength, particularly for ABV.

Can, undated shared by tfontana, thank you! Drunk 12/9/23. Hibiscus colored with a small, pinkish head. Some light Belgian notes with earthy, fruity hibiscus and low lime. Not too acidic. Kinda bready. A bit of diaper? Soft, heavy hibiscus earthiness, acidity, zest and juice. Maybe not the most grissette character. It's pretty clean, malty, attenuated. Maybe a bit doughy. Not overdone on adjunct.

16 oz. can. Aroma has a moderate amount of coffee with slight chocolate. Flavor follows through with a little bit of roast. Mouth feel / body are good for the gravity. Respectable.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks buddy. The aroma is apricot, grapefruit, and mild herb. Flavor follows. Shows a nice earthy bitterness after the fruit. Lots of “danky” earthy characteristics. This is more a West Coast IPA than New England. Decent.

Mixed review 5 oz. pour/can pour from the brewery. It’s a cloudy dark yellow-light brown with light sparkle, finger width of white foamy head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong lemon, stone fruit, pineapple and soft herb. Taste follows aroma with doughy bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. No bitterness. Overall, decent complexity and strength. Good introduction to this brewer!

5 oz. pour on tap at the brewery. It’s a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with finger-width foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong grass/hay, scallion and cooking herb. Taste is strong grass, herb with mild sweetness and hint of alcohol astringency and late background biscuit/bread. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nice vegetal double neipa.
