Unexpected find. Bristol area is where most RI breweries I haven’t tried lie but alas this shows up at my local. Anyways. Hazy sludgy orange yellow and frothy head. Nose is pithy citrus and some tropics. Tastes of pineapple, grapefruit pith, mango, green onion. Medium chewy palate.

Brewery draught, 1/25/24. Heavily hazy, approaching concretey. Small, white head, quickly to light cover. Really nice juice and spice mix. Clean, clear and with mineral and dank greens. Sweaty, funky, rustic, lovely. Juicy, spicy, some petrol, light pine, lots of spice. Not quite as sublime as the nose suggested. But malty, well-attenuated and well-made. Heavily fruity yeast, light pine throughout. Good assertive bitterness for the style. Maybe a bit more pine than I'm looking for, though.

Brewery draught, 1/25/24. Blood red, clear, small, pinkish head quickly to ring. Deep, earthy, roasty peanuts. No raspberry or lactic acid in the nose. Some gross lactose. Raspberry, syrupy sugars, malt, peanut, creamy lactose. Holy fuck there is A LOT going on in a small sip of this 5% beer....juicy, peanut buttery, lightly tart raspberry acids. I like that it's super malty and rich, with excellent salty, roasty peanut character. But it's very sweet.

4 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Cloudy yellow with cap of head. Aroma is strong citrus, ripe pineapple. Taste is citrus/fruit but a slightly industrial quality, Manila paper. Smooth with soft carbonation and dry finish. Starts strong but off putting quality.

4 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Nitro version. Opaque black with lovely nitro head, no lacing. Aroma is earthy roasted malt. Taste is earth roasted malt, a bit rubbery, and bitter. Smooth, somewhat thin, bitter finish. Nitro not adding much beyond look. Too earthy for me.
