Taster flight at Stone Path Malt. Slight gold haze, a stubborn white head. Clean, crisp malty beer nose. Nice "Special Export" taste. Nice as a very fresh beer, with a happy tang of German hops.

Pours a nice hazy pale orange from a can. Surprised I haven't rated this yet, it's one of my favorite of theirs since they introduced it earlier this year, glad they've decided to make it a regular. Aroma is lovely tropical fruit, some grapes and herbs, if anything a little too strong. In the mouth it's fantastic, the same notes but blended very well together , a very well-balanced beer if sweet. Great beer.

Pours a nice amber from a can. Big citrus aroma with some pine backing, similar flavor, quite sweet. Doesn't quite hit the west coast IPA that they're going for, but it's further west than most of either brewery's IPAs. Good beer.

Brewery draught, 1/12/14. Clear, dark mahogany. Small, tan head, quickly to ring. Fruity, soft, mellow coffee mixes nicely with chocolate and toffee. Long vanilla, cacao, syrupy toffee and rich coffee bean fine sh. Clean and fruity, bright, no booze, not overdone on adjunct. Soft, malty, very fruity and estery with lots of yeast character and fruity roast. Kind of a feathery, cotton candy-like sweetness and texture. Strange. More fruitiness, light alcohol, big ester and hints of chocolate on the finish. Light bodied for the style. More malt depth would go a long way.

Brewery draught, 1/12/24. Cloudy, deep raspberry-cranberry. Small, pinkish head immediately to ring. Juicy, authentic fruits in the nose with a touch of vanilla and seemingly no lactose?! Low acidity, mostly fruit-derived. Juicy, fruity, soft and lightly tart. Faint vanilla on the finish rounds it out. Again, wishing there was a bit more malt depth here, but it's dry, clean and the flavors are well-developed.

Brewery draught, 1/12/24. Heavily hazy, deep maize-golden. Small, quickly receding, white head. Dry, spicy Galaxy with light white wine, light spruce. Cracker and biscuit from the malt balance fine. Juicy, spicy, peppery even. Some soft, moderately sweet malt behind it. Melon, pineapple, spruce. Lingering table sugar-like character is a bit off-putting. It starts out really juicy and rich but I wish it were a shade drier. Clean, though and not resinous.
