Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Almost clear mahogany, no head. Red wine, toffee, yoghurt, red berries, oak, vanilla, alcohol, dry earthy notes, chestnuts. Over medium sweet, less bitter, light sour. Full bodied, bit dry. Not amazing but very complex and interesting.

Bottle. Color: Very dark copper, fast disappearing mocha-colored bubbles. Aroma: Dark dried fruit, vinuous, Bourbon notes, hints of Brett funk. Taste: No carbonation, vinuous red wine / Port-like, oxidation, dark dried fruit (figs, dates), Bourbon, oak wood and almond notes and subtle Brett notes. Lightly boozy hints. Full body. Sticky mouthfeel. Medium sweet with a moderate to over moderate bitterness and slighly tartness. Interesting. A lot of flavours to explore. Very likeable for an Old Stock Ale lover like me.

330ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Wheaty malty and slightly yeasty fruity, minimally spicy aroma, hints of banana, some coriander. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally spicy, hints of banana, a touch of juniper berry and coriander.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rather cautiously spiced, fairly refreshing - OK.

[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque peaty brown pour with a close beige head; fresh hedgerow hop aroma; smooth in the mouth with a blackcurrant taste; and a fruity finish with some roasted malts. Very tasty.
