Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Dark, clear. Small, light-tan head. Classic coffee and dark chocolate with mild base malt character, clean and lightly fruity. In the mouth it's the same. Wish Epigram's beers had a little more character. Very clean and well-done (if somewhat less malty than I'd like), but kind of soulless.

Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Moderately hazy, blonde-maize. Small, white head. Lightly juicy, moderately fruity, clean with lots of pine and grapefruit. Not quite as NZ/AUS as I'd hoped/expected. But some tropical notes. Biscuit and white bread from the malt. In the flavor it's lightly-to-moderately malty with mild juiciness, lots of yeast and a fair amount of biscuity malt character. Their IPAs area all clean with pleasant elements, but don't really give a deep, sumptuous maltiness nor do they seem to really be all that hoppy. As if they are using just enough hops to get by, but not really trying to impress anyone.

Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Lightly-to-moderately hazy, blonde-brass-golden. Small, white head. Fruity, yeasty nose with a bit of pineapple, spicy Galaxy and the like. Not all that bright or lush. A bit bogged down by yeast and biscuity, crackery malt. But clean enough. In the mouth it's a bit undermalted and heavily crackery with spicy, mineral, pineapple and heavy fruit from the yeast. Lingering citrus with peppery bitterness. Thinner than it should be and not very cohesive.

Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Clear as day. Golden-maize. Small, white head. Melon, pineapple, white bread, light pine. Clear and clean with bright yeast and cracker malt. Piney up front with sweaty grapefruit rind. Tea, cracker, sweat, pepper. Weird one but amply malty and such. Not a personal fav but I can respect it.

Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Mostly clear, bronze-brass. Small, white head. Heavy pineapple and herbage. Pepper, biscuit, cracker. Lean and peppery, with hot fermentation it feels like. Dry, pineappley, phenolic. Just kinda rushed and thin. Bitterness is a bit high. Boozey.

Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Hazy bronze-brass. Small, white head. Nose is peppery, not clovey. No bananas. Wheat and malt lots of biscuit. Light tropical fruit, even. Clean. Not exactly classic saison but not gross American either. In the mouth it's heavy white pepper, light clove, hint of banana, lots of star fruit and biscuit. Seems like one of these kveik things. Pretty well done. Dry, decently malty.

Can (6/17/24) pour from the brewery. Hazy orange-yellow with tons of sparkle, decent head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong lemon over grapefruit and bread. Taste is grapefruit over lemon with tropical element and late bread. Smooth texture, lively carbonation and dry finish as taste.
