Duft av humle, malt og trevirke.Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynt dekkende skum, noe heng langs kant. Fruktig smak med en anelse karamell og noe røykt.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Batch #246. Amber colour, moderate white head. The aroma has moderate fruity hops with hints of smoke, woodwork and ashes. Fairly refreshing and medium dry flavour, hints of smoke and wood again, some hops, but far too moderate for an IPA.

Flaske på Cardinal, delt med Willy, juli-14 (Bjørnøy triathlon): lukter lite og smaker diesel sier Willy. Lite aroma, kort skum og ufrisk/vammel humlesmak. Liten munnfylde men heldigvis kort ettersmak. På ingen måte verdt 129 kroner. Lurer virkelig på humleoppskriften her.

Bottle from the convenience store at Geiranger. Poured a hazy medium amber with a fizzy but quickly disappearing light tan head. The aroma is resin hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt, grass light spice hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. I expected much better. After the initial fizz it’s completely lifeless.

Flaske fra Matkroken Stokka, juli-14: Fin kobberfarge med skum som varer. Aroma av brød, innestengt kjeller og kvae. Smaken minner i tillegg om nyslått gress som har tørket i sola et par timer. Kort og lett bitter ettersmak, men smaken av noe gammelt henger igjen. Har ikke den friske "crispy" syrligheten som jeg forbinder med en god ipa.

Bottle from the supermarket at Geiranger. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, toffee,citrus, light hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a light, slightly watery malt, fruit, hop pepper spice palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
