12 oz can. Aroma consists of chocolate, cinnamon, raisin, molasses, wet stone. Pours dark brown to black with a half finger tan head with decent retention. Taste is sweet with some bitterness around the edges. Flavors of horchata mixed with bourbon barrels and molasses/raisin.

Draft at Payette. Golden pour, mild haze, thin layer of foam, streaky lacing. Light grainy aroma. Taste is biscuity, bready, malty with a faint bitterness and some dryness

12 oz can. Aroma is grainy, bready. Pours clear pale golden with a two finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste has a bracing herbal bitterness backed by some light bready malt.

On tap at the Boise taproom, former brewery. Clear light bright golden with a quick thin soapy white head and lacing. Clean sharp floral hop bitterness and bite. Clean and light bodied. A bit like an IPL

Taster at Payette. Dark brown pour, thin foamy beige head. Roasty malty aroma, fairly prominent. Taste is roasty, malty with a mild hop presence. Solid throughout.

On Tap at the Boise Brewery/Taproom. Clear deep dark brown. Expected piney roasty aromas and flavors. Not as dark roast as I expected nor as big fresh piney either. Milder on both and balanced I suppose.

On tap at the Boise taproom. Soft haze on a lemon grow pour. Coarse white head. Crisp floral hop bite. Some honey notes and bititng almost peppery hop character. and a dry palate.
