On draught at the brewery tap room.Gold color. There is a mild hop aroma. Light, simple flavor, with some hops but mostly of grain. Light finish. This is a boring beer. They have the lonely blond for those who want light, and they should do something with more flavor and aroma.

12 oz. bottle from a trade. Thanks Tripplebrew! Clear yellow with a quickly dissipating soapy white head, leaving nothing in the wake. Light grain and Pils malt. Corn, grainy taste. Light body with a water like mouthfeel. Has some drinkability. Real standard Blond. A good lawn mower beer.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice citrus note up front that also has some grass and a bread backbone. Flavor has a bit more pine and grass than citrus and is backed by sweet bread.

Oh, marketing, how well thy charms work. I was thinking this bottle was going to be a killer IPA, solely based upon the clever name, which beers are running desperately short of these days. Too bad the IPA inside is pretty bad. Bland malts and a very underutilized hop mix lead to a spiky, sweet finish, with little hop flavor getting through. Seriously weak IPA.

Bottle courtesy of Atom. Pineapple grapefruit hops, sweet caramel malt. Clear bright copper, with a moderate off white head. Caramel malt, resinous piney hops, a little metallic. Body seemed a little thin, the mouthfeel was rather tannic.

Hanger Room Firkin Fest, October, 2011. Labed. as "infused with local hops," so I am taking a guess this is the same beer. Good citrus hop aroma. Flavor has flowers and intense hop flavor, with more citrus. A few samples of this leaves a mild hop burn. Alcohol lingers in the aftertaste.

12oz bottle shared by Mr. Pickles. Filtered. Orange tan with a large white head. Old school sort of Burton style aroma, some mild tropical tones..but a little odd. A little buttery, butterscotch. Some flowery action, sort of an English feel. OK, but. A little sub par.

Draft. Hazy amber color, thick tan head, delicate lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, grass. Taste is bitter grapefruit and summer fruit. Nice.

12 oz twist off bottle, purchased as a single at the Four Firkins in St Louis Park, Minnesota. Brewed and packaged by Stevens Point Brewery. The pour is mostly clear copper, some brown and red. One inch light tan head is reasonably lasting, leaves nice lacing. The aroma is pretty faint, its a slightly metallic malt, along with a sort of generic bitter earthy hop. Not an off nose, necessarily, just a bit dull. The taste follows the nose, metallic malt, generic grain malt sweetness, bit of honey, along with the earthy hop of the nose. Some pine peaks out as it warms. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, and a moderately dry finish. The after taste has a bit more of the metallic malt. As with the Lonely Blond, I would love to give this another shot from their own brewery. I will reserve full judgement until then.
