Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, amber beer wtih a small, off-white head. Weak grainy nose with fruityness and some toffee. Quite metallic flavor in the end, with bready toffee and a fruity hoppyness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation level. A super boring dunkel, that won’t impress or scare anyone. 110319

Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hay, citrus and quite strong grass and farmyard. Flavour is citrus fruits, bready malts and some slight cardboardy notes. Actually rather balanced radler, without too much sweetness in it.

Bottled@Belgobaren, Stockholm. Aroma is liquorice, some metallic notes as well as roasted malts and mild sweet malts. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, some ashy notes as well as alcohol. Yet it has a rather thin palate. The elements for an Imperial Stout are there, but simply too mild and thin to be interesting.

Bottled at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Black, lively but brief head. Estery pear aroma. Sweet and fruit ywith medium body and lively mouthfeel. Only lightly roasty with the slightest note of licorice, but no trace of the Mackmyra whisky barrel. Drier finish that is thinning out. More like a dunkel on weihenstephan yeast than an imperial stout.

Bottle 25cl. Tasted double blind. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a tiny off-white head. The nose is extremely buttery and unclean, some roast and a ton of phenols. Medium body, sweet roast, licorice and dark fruit with a salty edge and again a load of phenols. Poor craftmanship. 190211

25 cL bottle, #69 and 202 (I guess the brewer was able to squeeze some more out the barrel). Pours dark brown with a minimal head. Aroma is roasted malty, light wooden and caramelish. Sweet malty, thick liqourice, dark roasted malty and dense black chocolate. Thick and flavourful. Lingering dark roasted chocolate malty finish.
