In my opinion, it is a decent ale, close to an IPA. There is a side watery, more hop could be perfect, even though it is refreshing, 07.11.16, at Prélaz.

Bottle at home, black beer, beige small head. Aroma is roast, malt, chocolate, liquorice, dark ripe fruit. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, roast, chocolate, liquorice, fruit, alcohol warmth, very nice.

33cl Fles van Getranke Hoffmann Kleve. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag. Licht geparfumeerd, druiven, ingelegde citroen, tarwe, lijkt wel iets van een White IPA te hebben maar een stuk vlakker van smaak, wel redelijk bitter. Lichte body. Degelijke Pale Ale.

Bottle. Golden amber with a fat coat of off white head. Aroma of honeyed dough, oranges, spices. Heavy. Very sweet with boiled oranges, bun dough, then lots of bitterness with some spices. Seems more (youngish) barley wine than tripel. Fair enough.
