Bottle: Pale yellow, hazy, not cloudy; mid-sized fluffy white head; a bit lacing, slowly diminishing; fruity nose (citrus, bananas) with a tinge of cloves; soft, bitter-sweet flavour; fruity (bananas, citrus again), bitter-sweet finish. O.K., but not overwhelming.................

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brandy colour with a yellowish brown head. Sweet, malty and very caramelish nose. The body is rock solid and rather potent although the alcohol is well hidden. Very sweet but far from cloying with lots of delicious roasted malt and caramel. Almost no bitterness. 101205

(Bottle 50 cl) Unclear, dark amber with a tall and thick beige coloured head. Plenty of lovely fruit esters in the nose. Also lots of fruit in the flavours with a surprisingly dry finish - even with a touch of bittering hops. 101205

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden and very clear with a delicate, creamy, white head. Soft, malty nose. Dominated by plenty of nice malt, but is mainly dry and less sweet than your typical Helles. Discreet bitterness. 101205

(Bottle 50 cl) Lightly hazy amber with a creamy, off-white head. Lightly sweet caramelish aroma. Weak, fruity notes. Good malty body with a light tartness. Quite "spezial" but nice. Top-fermented. 091105

Bottle: Hazy, reddish amber coloured; mid-sized beige rocky head, lasting; fruity (bananas, cloves), a bit yeasty and sourish nose; sweet and a bit sourish flavour; initial sweetish fruitiness; finish is malty, wheaty and a bit sourish, too. O.K., but not great...............

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a small frothy white head. Cake dough aroma with sweet malts and a touch of grassy hops. Malts accented flavour and taste. Initially sweet with a light bitter and medium dry finish. Boring but drinkable Helles.

re-rate from bottle. Green-golden, fine sparkly, white lace. Rich german aromatic hops, a hint countryside/sulphur, Medium body, chewy, sparkly, nice broad hop profile going from metallic grassy to a flowery finish. Really nice, happy I had a chance to try it again. old rating: 5 2 6 2 10 Bottle
Pale green golden colouring, low lacing head. Bready malt aroma with hints of aromatic hops. Lightbodied, onedimensional malty pils, some flowery hops help a bit - its nowhere near what the commercial description promisses though.
