50cl bottle from maltese.beer, Italy. Pours orange gold, crisp clean, with fine white foam. Aroma is floral, plus a little malty and honey. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is mildly sweet. Final is average.

Cloudy amber with a moderate ivory-coloured head. pale malt, toasted, butter, dried fruit, some hop. Light sweet, low bitterness. Mediocre.

Jetzt wird zünftig - zumindest laut Etikett. Sehr helle Farbe mit ganz minimaler Trübung. Geruch anfangs ungewöhnlich. Erinnert mich zunächst an Djuvec-Reis und Ajvar (Reminder an mich selbst: Ich muss dringend demnächst mal zum Jugo und was leckeres essen). Nach 2 - 3 mal nachschnüffeln hat man eher konventionelle Noten von süßem Malz und aromatischem Holz. Beim Trinken ist das Malz auch bestimmend (stärker als man es bei einem Bier dieser Färbung erwartet). Im Antrunk hat man eine gewisse Süße. Außerdem fällt eine leichte Eisennote auf und der Anflug von etwas, was ich nicht genau einordnen kann und ich am ehesten mit altem Sherry vergleichen würde. Der Körper ist vergleichsweise leicht. Alles recht ungewöhnlich, aber so richtig warm werde ich damit nicht.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, deep amber with a dense and creamy, beige head. Smoky nose - Bamberg style. Medium body, quite sweet, sweet and caramelly malts, now with the smokiness turning more peaty. Dry finish with a subtle bitterness. I would call it a Rauchweizen. 061225

0,5 l bottle from a local Hol´Ab! market. BB 09.01.2027. Now listed with 5,6% abv on the label. Murky copper in the glass, more than one finger light tanned head. Wheat, yeast, banana and a lot of smokey elements on the nose. Taste starts with wheat, yeast and orange, less banana. Hints of Whisky with fruity parts in the second row. Soft bitterness. Very smooth at the palate. Below average carbonation. I like this kind of stuff.

Dorada de espuma de tamaño y retención medios. Aroma cereal. En boca es malteada, tono tirando a dulce. Bien de gas y suave al paladar. Amargor escaso.

Dorada casi limpia de muy abundante espuma bien duradera. Aroma cereal agradable. Suave, bien de gas en paladar. Rico sabor malteado, bastante cereal. Alguna nota de maiz y floral para una buena helles.

Tap. Amber color, slightly misty, yellow head. Aroma: sweet, caramel, toasted bread with jam. Taste: malty, sweet, caramel, pretzels, slightly bitter, relatively not bad.

Dorada muy limpia de excelente espuma abundante y duradera. Aroma malteado con notas especiadas. Ligera en boca, con sabor malteado, tono algo dulce.
