Shared bottle on the 23rd Aug 2014: Midlands gathering. Strange brew that reminded me of the butter icing you get in the middle of Sponge Cakes. Shall we leave it at that? PS. I like butter icing.

Bottle @ Midlands Tasting Group, Aug 14 at Richie’s Hop Palace. Pours cloudy orange with no head. Buttery aroma, buttery taste & buttery name by the looks of it, with a touch of sweetcorn. Strange Lithuanian butter beer.

Bottle. Aroma is extraordinary: intensive straw, some butter, yeast. Pale colour, cloudy. Light sweetness, light bitterness, but not the one that comes from hops. Soft carbonation, medium body. Not too heavy. I think this is a very good example of Lithuanian traditional ale, definitely worth buying.
