12oz bottle. Filtered brown copper body. Thin beige head. Medium bodied. Didn’t quite get the honey until I read the description, but it certainly does add a sweet, creamy touch. Not the kind of beer that blows you away, but a mellow drinkable Brown Ale is always nice if you ask me. OK.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a hazy deep amber red with a bubbly white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is full of raspberries supported by light maple and sweet grains. Flavor has more maple up front with a growing tart raspberry note and a hint of sweet grains.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan. Effervescent, thin off-white head. Mellow, creamy aroma, a touch of honey and corn. Medium bodied, rather straightforward, captures the style well. Some slightly off fruity undercurrents. Doughy and inoffensive. Sub par but interesting enough, worth the tick.

A light lager body with simple pepper flavor. Tha that is black pepper, which dominates the aroma and the flavor. I think they achieved what they were going for; this isn’t so spicy that Minnesotan, who would typically describe barbecque sauce as "hot," couldn’t drink it, but the result is a beer that has the flavor of black pepper with almost no heat at all. There is no fruity flavor at all, as the description promies. Worth a try; at least it is not offensive.

Not bad at all. Looks great, very dark orange, with a white lace on the glass. Aromas of hops and some maple. Surprisingly complex. Hops, malt, light maple, and a lager taste. Thin, with a strange, oily aftertaste.
