Tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered gray-brown body. Kind of an oily sweet body. Ashy, more along the lines of an English BW I suppose. Prune, dark red, purple fruit tones. Not that impressive of an offering. Toffee. Kind of low carbonation. Not hop balance. Budget BW.

On tap at Silver Creek. Estimated by the bar staff to be 10.5%. Sounds about right. Unfiltered thick brown-black body. Foamy rusted beige head. Big and chewy, deep chocolate, caramel, molasses. Massive, but not overbearing. Boozy brown malt..the good kind. Raisin, dark fruit. A beast of a Winter Warmer..if it is a Barleywine think English Barleywine. Well done. Some licorice notes. Lots of depth, deep and rich, and refreshingly not centered around a barrel.

Tap at Silver Creek. Thick unfiltered brown, slow rising carbonation bubbles inside. Frothy beige head. Quite delicious, sort of a unique take on a Dunkelweizen or Weizenbock even. Thick, sweet malt tones, some chocolate banana as well. Rich and yeasty, smooth on the palate. Doughy, luscious malt tones. A really well done beer, the rye is well incorporated and doesn’t stand out too much.

Tap at Silver Creek. Unfiltered thick orange-brown body. Thin steady off-white head. Sweet butterscotch malt tones. Earthy, oily hop character. Subdued carbonation, relatively soft on the palate. Medium bodied, refreshing. Sort of like an APA met a Steam beer. Toasty mellow gingerbread tones. Decent stuff.

Snifter at SC. Unfiltered amber-brown. Thin, patchy off-white/beige head. Sort of an odd aroma, This is a unique twisted up beer. Sugary sweet malt tones, odd sour buttery tones, and a decent balancing bitterness. Solid alcohol richness. Clovy, spicey, sticky. Deep sweet malt tones, maybe a pinch underattenuated. Thick malt tones. Hardly World Class, but an interesting creation.

Tap at SC. Unfiltered orange-tan. Oily thin head. Sweet malty aroma. An odd variation, not really so true to style. Bitter, slightly astringent. Not perfectly Lagered, but still an OK beer, Some amber malt tones. Toasty.

Tap at Silver Creek. Brown-black, thick steady beige head. Smooth amber chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, mellow chocolate malty taste. Mild bitterness, well balanced. Rather true to style. albeit a little more chocolaty, sort of like a true mild meets a US ESB. A pretty solid, sessionable offering.
