The old brewing craft is maintained by him - because he attaches great importance to the fact that original beers with character are brewed in his brewery.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, hazy, medium sized fluffy head; quite distinctive sweet-malty and a bit yeasty (fruity) nose; soft, sweetish flavour; delicate sweetish-fruity, almost a bit alcoholic finish. Not bad, but not a brew the world was waiting for...............

(swing top bottle) Hazy and cloudy yellow colour with a fluffy blonde foam. Sweet, yeasty, slightly citrus-fruity and slightly worty nose with a tinge of honey. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body, lively carbonated mouthfeel; malty and yeasty taste with honey and a restrained fruitiness; yeasty and minimal bitter finish. Still drinkable, but not perfectly balanced and a fairly unripe brew.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, orangey to amber coloured, huge rocky off-white head; distinctive sweetish fruity (oranges, lemons, orange peel) aroma, traces of yeast, too; mild, but fizzy mouthfeel, sweetish (fruity and malty) taste; becomes a bit dryer in the fruity, citrousy finish, some mild acidity detectable. A nice "Wheat beer" without wheat.....or a "Belgian Ale" from the Bohemian Forest !

(Bottle 50 cl) Light brown almost muddy beer with a decent head and a high carbonation. Fresh and sweetish, but the fruity esters are rather subdued. A bit disappointing. 041204

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful golden beer, only slightly hazy with a lively head that almost spurts out of the bottle when the cap is removed. Very fruity with a citrusy freshness and a touch of acidity. Almost no bitterness. A very classical Hefe of top quality. 030401

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly cloudy coppery golden with a subdued head and a low carbonation. Very malty, caramelish, soft and sweet with only a touch of hops for balance. My kinda beer - delicious. 060201

Bottle. Quite spicy aroma. Very earthy, spicy flavour, a little sweet. Spicyness reminding me of witbier. Hint of mushroom. Interesting beer, and quite nice.
