12oz. loose bottle, $1.50 @Woodman’s. Nice start with a rich amber/red pour, a few particles, but otherwise clean with plenty of bubbles and a big bubbly head. Smell has some decent malt to it, and it’s a bit mineral-like. Taste is pretty nice, with some good caramel malts. Some bitterness that I think is English with a touch of Northern Brewer. The label reads "Brewed with the finest mineral waters," which makes me think there is a mineral taste as well as smell.

12oz bottle. Hazy red-brown. Respectable creamy beige/off-white head. Creamy cherry-vanilla aroma. I’m not a big fan of Ambers/Reds, but this is ok, not mindblowing World Class. Creamy finish, rather mild and inoffensive. Not one I’d ever seek out again, but respectable enough...get’s old fast, non-quality feel to it. Fake-me-out corporate beer.
