Tap at Diverse House. Off-putting aroma. Pretzely malts but off tones bring it down. Poor lagering . Drinkable, but certainly it worth bar price and a poor example of the style.

Draft at the FoBAB Lager Lounge. This is a nice find, because the Moor’s that I have been able to find at my local have been the higher test darker beer. This is a lightly hazy golden pour in the glass. And I should note that for the Lager Lounge they pretty much do full pours in the sampler classes. Very thin ring of foam around the edge. A light crisp lager nose. Has that same crisp lager beer taste with a bit of wheat. Just another faultless beer in its style. I'm just glad I found one of these. I still find a little bit of yeast in the nose toward the end.

16 oz can. Sudsy, clingy head. Amber body with plenty of tiny floaties. Nice IPA hop nose, nothing exotic. Taste is nicely malty, well-matched to a standard IPA hop load. Slight sweet & nutty aftertase.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with some minerals and a clean neutral malt. Flavor is more citrus fruit with a chewy malt body. Not a helles at all, this is more of a hoppy lager. Still a decent beer though.

Pint on tap at Harry Caray's Shortstop at Midway airport. Lightly hazy pale gold, light sparkle, finger width head w/excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is sweet/tart spruce, pine. Taste is stronger version of aroma. Smooth, lively carbonation. High evergreen. Too carbonated.

Draft at Orange & Brew. Deep brown to black draft color. Nice thin layer of foam Crisp toasty malt smell. Taste has more of a black lager note, different for a dark ale. It's a little light in alcohol, and there's a note of yeast on the palate. But very pleasant, all in all.

Pint can. $4 at orange & Brew. Pours a deep, rich brown to black. Somewhat fizzy head that settles out like a cola. Mild nose, mostly toasty malts. Taste keeps up the malts, only slightly roasty, and low on the usual coffee or chocolate roast. Some cherry sourness like a dry stout. Roasts do start to come up midway through. But the elevated alcohol is not apparent, making this an easy drinker.
