330ml bottle, about 6C. Gold with a tightly packed white head that fades to a coat. Mild aroma of caramel, a little toast, hints of tropical fruits. Slightly syrupy. Taste is sweet with light caramel, some vague light fruits - pears, feijoa - indistinct hop bitterness. I really only bought this to tick off malt liquor as a style (it’s the only one I can recall seeing here), but this is really quite drinkable. Left to warm it’s pretty vilely sweet, but cold it’s streets ahead of any strong lager I’ve had.

First 3/4 of the bottle poured completely clear. Took a bit of a swirl to rouse the sediment. Then it’s cloudy orange with a large white head. Nose has lemon zest, white pepper, cloves. Taste is sour and very lemony with some spice notes. No other fruit, no breadiness. Way too lemony. I’d say something’s wrong here, but my wife liked it pretty well.

Pours ruby with a large fading head.Nose shows load of crystal malt along with some toasty and nutty characters. Really amazing malt. Incredibly appetising.Flavours are exactly the same followed by a moderate bitterness.Nice soft carbonation suits the beer well.

Pours black with a fading off-white creamy head.Nose shows soft roasted malt with rich chocolate characters and a little roasted coffee. Underneath is some toffee and caramel. Very nice.Similar flavours but less roasted character, it seems to fall short at first from lack of malt.Carbonation is too low and the body seems a bit watery.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, caramel, liquerice and coffee. Sweet flavor with hard roasted malt, coffee, english liquerice and tobacco. Finished hard roasted and somewhat dry.

Clear golden with a small off white head. Malty nose with fruity and grassy hops. Malty flavor with grassy hops, caramel and toasted malt. Finished dry.

Bottled. A nut-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and bread as well as a bit of a bit of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, bread, and some chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is fruity and mild citrusy. Sweet, fruity and mild bitterness. Ends sweet and fruity.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Malty nose with some perfumy hops. Medium body, good and solid malt bill with some alcohol showing in the finish. A good strong lager. 121010
