Description

Bottled. Deep amberish brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted malts, yeast, and alcohol. Flavour is caramel malts, toffee and mild alcohol. Alcohol gives a burning feeling on the tongue though.

Bottle, 6.5%. 5 months past BB date. Quite weak sweetish roasted aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Nice, stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and slightly metallic with a little brown sugar and anis notes. Finishes quite dry with a slightly unpleasant hop bitterness and a little alcohol. High carbonation.

Aroma's: kruidig, karamelmoutig, zoetig. Smaak is zoetig, licht gebrand, karamel. Vrij dun mondgevoel. Vrij korte afdronk, wel iets bitterig.

Just a littly hazy orange; head gone. A bit spicey, specifically lime tree blossom (NOT the citrus one), some white candi sugar. Citrussy acidity in the taste, some cookie malt, ending more meaty. Medium bodied, restrained burning MF. Nice tripel, proclaiming itself unabashedly. It fills the demands.
