Cask at GBBF 2023 - Day 1. Pours lightly cloudy gold with a frothy, white head. Light-medium sweet, pale grains, ripening lemon, nips of pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Alright condition. Finishes with more pale grains and rindy citrus. Not bad.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, nice level of sweetness. Nicely tropical hops. Mango, trace of pineapple, whisper of guava. Mild pine and decent hop spice on the back end. Nice job. Very drinkalble.

Can (11/24/20) pour. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light orange with tons of effervescent sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and nice spotty lacing. Aroma is strong lemon. Taste is strong sweet lemon and danky bitter pine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and crisp finish with mild lingering dry bitterness. Overall, the sweet lemon aroma and flavor are consistent with the style but the piney bitter not so much. A bit over carbonated.

12 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Born on date: 10/20/20 “ eruption”. Aroma is grapefruit, orange peel, herb. Character of the brew has a slight bread malt back bone with lasting grapefruit, orange and slight herb finish. Bitterness is very mild. Balanced. For as old as the can is... turned out real well.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Born on date: 11/24/20. Nose has decent citrus, herbs, soft bread hints. Flavor has the citrus with soft grass and light herbaceous bitterness. Like a cross between a West Coast and New England IPA. Bitterness becomes more stern as it warms.

Can (10/20/20) pour. Appearance is opaque yellow-orange (orange juice) with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is a sweet, fruity/creamsicle candy (bubblegum or taffy), along with milder vegetal/herbal. Taste is mix of sweet fruit candy (like aroma) and dank bitterness, with late hint of herb. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, not a bad introduction to this brewer! Look is gorgeous, aroma is intriguing but taste doesn't measure up and is a bit thin. But, enough to make me intrigued about this brewer!
