Former name: "Münch-Bräu Eibau".
In 1810, the Eibau brewery was established by the Zittau brewing community.
The location of Eibau was confirmed by King Friedrich August I (1806-1827 King of Saxony) as the first rural brewery in the Zittau area. Since then, beer has been brewed here in the heart of the Upper Lausitz.

Clear golden with a tiny white white head. Malty flavour with hints of caramel. Flavour was sweet and malty with grassy hops. Finished bitter.

Brown with red glimts and a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, rye bread and hints of chocolate. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Finished sweet.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a decent white head. Sweet malty nose. Medium body, malts, brewing cereal and sulphur - quite a lot of sulphur really. A little harsh hoppiness in the finish. 141109

Bottle, 5.2%. Mild aroma of light malts. Clear golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour has a bit of the same malt as the aroma. Low to medium bitterness. A bit thin, but almost clean.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and mild grassy. Slight sweet and slight cornish flavoured. Mild bitterness and dry malty finish. Ends dry and bitter.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Grainy-malty nose. Malty and grainy with a dusty touch, shy hop flavours in the finish. Decent Helles.

Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a thin fast disappearing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of dusty hops, malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry bready finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, 6.7%. Mildly sweet aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Almost no head. The flavour is OK sweet, has some lagery dry notes in the finish. A little brown sugar, but no more than is expected.
