Description
Double Standard is a craft beer brewery previously located in the former brewery building in Issy-les-Moulineaux and run by brewmaster Nadzeya Ahanesian. This woman has extensive experience in home brewing – it's a family passion: her father, having been a brewmaster himself, passed on his passion to her. She has mastered the brewing of all kinds of beers: sweet, fruity, and spicy beers in the Belgian style, bitter, hoppy beers with tropical aromas in the American style, or creamy and traditional beers like those found in Irish pubs.

In 2018 the name was changed into Quatre Eléments.

Currently located in Clamart.

Bottle at home on 30th November 2017; gift from a friend. Pours unfiltered cloudy amber-brown with thick yellow-white foam. A delicate aroma of fresh herbs and spices blending with sweetened citrus peel. Pungent, earthy, malty in-mouth with continued delicate spice and herby hoppiness both of which balance and combine agreeably. Bittersweet finish with a more pronounced citrus zest. Medium bodied with an engaging texture. A fine, sophisticated amber IPA.
