29/1/2026. Cask at the 17th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Hazy pour but fine. Nice sweet juicy hoppy aroma. A little straw. Fairly sweet with mild bitterness. Nicely drinkable.

25/7/2025. Cask at The Harwich Redoubt Beer Festival 2025. Liquorice, molasses, malted, fruit cake aroma. Smooth and well balanced. Slightly meaty. Good body. Well done.

30/5/2025. Cask at the 38th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Milky, lactose, roasted, nutty, chocolate aroma. Nice roasted bittersweet taste. Very nice.
