Gold with good white head. The nose and palate both smack of tinfoil, or some metallic flavor.

Rerate 1/2/03: Looking back I rated this beer too highly. Australia has some really good beers (Cooper's for example), unfortunately they are much more difficult to find than Foster's. 1/2/02 (2.8): Slightly above average standard beer. I would only advise if your only other options were along the Budweiser line.

Bottled(330ml). -drinkable but not so good beer, to much carbonated, I`ve been disapointed when I tasted it

Large tan head. Burnt carmel nose. Taste starts with roasted malt but finishes on a metallic note. Has potential

A golden beer with an OK yet fast disappearing head. The aroma is slightly hoppy. The taste is refreshing, a little more bitter than the average lager and with hints of honey which makes it just a bit better than the average lager. It''s not nearly as good now, as it was, 6 years ago, when I first tasted it in Sydney - maybe the setting and all the beers drunk since has an influence here?

This was definitely better than I was expecting, although it was not very special or bitter. Brownish orange with a very thick foamy head that dissipated quicker than I expected. Light hops aroma. Flavor was really not bitter in any way, it was rather mellow with a malt presence. A little tinny and thin which I WAS expecting. Dry, lightly fruity finish. Overall I think if they tweaked this one a little it would be worth another try but as it stands it is kind of mundane.

Funky bottle. Actually, aside from "golden", all my notes have are numbers and a description of the bottle.

This has a big cereal taste and usually tastes fairly skunky/peppery. it then fades into a watery finish with a bad sweet aftertaste. the commercials are generally pretty good though. . .
