50cl from tap at the brewpub. Golden with a nice white head. Aroma of banana, wheat and yeast with a hint of citrus. Sweet and fruity with a nice banana flavour and hint of citrus and spices. Fairly dry finish with some bitterness. Very nice and refreshing. A decent and fresh hefeweizen was more than I expected. Nice!

Hazy light amber with a thick head. The aroma is somewhat biscuity. Extracty, fuselly taste. Problematic. Too sweet. I hate to say but there is not much to redeem this mess of rankness and flaws.

Chestnut colour. Light head. Horribly flawed aroma with light nuttiness. Sour. Some toastiness. Lots of random rankness. Good lord. Seems like something that would happen using a dry yeast on its 100th generation.

Cloudy beigey-amber. Light head. Extracty. Vaguely fruity aroma. Too much unfermented stuff. Funny esters. Cloying. Light bubblegum. Fairly unattractive example, bordering on objectionable.

Draught@brewpub. Hazy dark orange, small steady creamy off-white head. Lemony, crystal sugar aroma. Kind of floury, a bit stingy malty and slightly hoppy flavor. Maybe a bit sour too, but it has at least some flavors!

Draught@brewpub, HCMC. Hazy dark orange color, good creamy white head. Plastic, banana aroma. Toasted banana flavor, a bit sour and smokey. Very German, similar to some darker microbrewery weizens from Germany. Hefeweizen in Vietnam! Wow.
