Poured a clear dark brown with a long-lasting frothy, light tan head. The aroma is roasty caramel malt, liqouirce, light charcoal, woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a smooth, dry roasty malt, sweet caramel, light dry smoky hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin, short-lived white head. The aroma is toffee malt, gluey, light yeast, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter witn a dry grainy malt, light dry metallic woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft - Toast and some dark roast with molasses malty notes. Jet black with a small beige head. Molasses and some liquorice with a long sweet dark malt finish.

On tap in the park next to the market ho chi Minh city. Decent white head. Hazy golden pour. Nice and refreshing.

Golden-tan colour. Thin head. Aroma is lightly fruity with some wonderbready malt character. Thin body with some undue stickiness and swilly fruity notes. The flaws are more annoying than overwhelming. That said, the beer is subpar by Hanoi brewpub standards.

Very dark brown with caramel thick head. The aroma is quite chocolatey. The body is thin, but the beer has a pleasant chocolatey/nutty character. Ok, but slightly watery.
