33 cl bottle @ Huikas, BBE 30.05.2025 Aroma has odd tar notes and rubber. Flavour has tar, rubber, ash and grain. A bit odd, drinkability could be better.

Draught (5,5%) @ the brewpub Aroma has tropical fruits and resiny malt. Flavour has grapefruity hops, biscuity malt, resin. Lingering hoppiness with biscuits and menthol. Somewhat unusual IPA but I seem to enjoy this.

Bottled at PBF XII. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Caramelly floral nose. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some grain and bread. Notes of citrus. Mid bitter finish. Solid.

Tasted at TCBF 2018. Smell of malt, some sugar. Cloudy dark amber colour, beige head. Aroma of malt, grass, some roasted flavour. Dry palate, lively soft carbon. Medium bitter. Wouldn't believe it's this strong.

Draught @ HBF 2017 [ Helsinki Beer Festival 2017 ], Kaapelitehdas, Talberginkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Jacobstads Bjørn Ironside Viking Hard Ass Amber Ale ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, fruity hops, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170408] 7-3-7-3-14

(Keg at HBF2017) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, hoppy and bitter. A nice sweet and hoppy brew.

Tap at The Office, Vasa. Reddish, brown color, off-white head, lace. Aroma has light citrus hoppyness. Grapefruity. Medium-bodied. Citrus, grass. Some berryish yeast notes. A bit berryish. Decent.

Draught, Vaasa 11.3.2016. Poured amber in color with a thick white head. Aroma was slightly herbal with pine and sweetness. Smooth and fresh, quite "musty". Pine and sweet fruits in flavor. Nice bitter lightly sweet finish.
