# 4471; 12/2024. Fruity and floral aroma, slightly malty and grainy. Murky gold body; huge persistent lacing white head. Fruity, floral, peppery alcohol, dry finish, higher carbonation, pear, light alcohol warmth. Very good Belgian Golden Strong Ale. 0,75 l, bottle, supermarket, Saint-Dié-des-Vosges (Lorraine, France).

75cl bottle from Leclerc. Pours clear gold, foamy white ring with scuzzy foam atop. Aroma of gently caramelised fruit, which continues to taste, moderate carbonation, some white grape notes, fresh and light, generally clean with a light acidity, minimal tannin. Moderately sweet. Ok doux overall.

75cl bottle from Leclerc, Hazebrouck. Pours a deep gold, fair spritz. Caramelised apple aroma. Nice woody side to taste, rustic cellar must, crisp skin bitterness, aged barrel. Interesting.

Canned 500ml. -from E.Leclerc Ljubljana. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, lime and ginger in te nose. Dominant lime and light ginger with sugary notes. Light finish. Drinkable.

75cl bottle. Pours a relatively clear gold, good bright effervescence. Aroma of ripened, gently caramelised medium apple fruit. Flavour profile presents a moderately sweet doux, fresh medium apple fruit, crisp spritz some a light hint of apple core. Not a huge amount of depth but fine overall.

1.5 litre bottle from Leclerc, Hazebrouck. Pours a hazed dull gold, gentle effervescence. Aroma of freshly pressed apple fruit. Flavour profile comes across a touch raw, fleshy, scuzzy but all the better for it I say.
