Pale and bright, medium head. Well this one’s got some butter…the hops are light for a pale ale but the malts aren’t bad. Wondering if this is a serving issue - I’m getting that vibe.

Dark brown. Relatively light bodied. Some nutty, toasty notes. Little bit of chocolate in there, too. Good balance, this one's a sweeter, nuttier take with a fair amount of coffee in the finish.

Bottle, from Carrefour. This one is specifically labelled as Berliner Weisse because in Brazil there is considered to be a clear demarcation between Berliner Weisse and Catharina Sour, this being too light in alcohol for the latter category. Lactic tartness up front, light cashew fruit in behind that. The body is actually heavier than I'd expect from a Catharina Sour, despite being lower alcohol. The fruit is not as pronounced either. Putting this up against the Unika Caju e Pitanga I'm starting to get clarity on the differentiation.

A hazed blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, beautiful mix of sweet biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, tropical fruit, light acidity, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and dry. Bottle at Mestre Cervejeiros
