Golden straw colour, with just wisps of foam; Medium saaz aroma with bready pale malts, a hint of grassiness and I might be fooling myself but bitter orange rind as well in there. Palate is malt-accented, starting off with a sweet, slightly oily, malt note that borders on being sugary. A slight hit of sour apple segues this beer into a hoppier finish with the grassiness picks up, the bitterness shows a bit more, the sugariness drops out and the palate goes semi-sweet but tasting more of saaz. The finish is kind of watery, which underscore the importance of a good finish - a long dry finish really elevates a pilsner like Bitburger but a watery finish hobbles a pilsner like Topvar 12.

Pale golden. Suprisingly weet for a Slovakian beer, and much less saaz fragrant than most other beers there. Meidum bodied, with average bitterness.

A normal pilsener just like many pilseners. Yellowish color, with a medium head. No abundant perfume, but at least it doesn't smell bad. Most pilseners smell like heavy hops i guess. This one is not as hoppy as most pilseners can be, but smoother and a bit sweeter. Very easy to drink, not such a dry palate as German pilseners have.
