Description
Beers are a beautiful thing and we’re very proud of ours here at Empire Brewing. An established micro-brewery situated amongst the rolling Yorkshire hills of Slaithwaite, we’ve been producing fine artisan ales for over a decade.

From a humble garage-based micro-brewery to the slick operation you see today at our boiler house by the canal, our beers – and the way we do things – have come a long way. But our values remain exactly the same: to produce creative and dynamic artisan brewing you’ll love.

On cask at Brambles in Holmfirth - decent dark looking body, thin white head. Smoky nose gives the impression this is going to be a good brew, but the thin tastelessness just makes it head towards the drainpour end of things. Can’t find anything good to say about this, just not for me.

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Light hazy brown beer. Sourish beer - sweaty feet! Dry! Too much like hard work!

2014 Update. Still sourish, dried fruits. Touch of dust. Still a vague off note. It’s slightly better but still not great.
