BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear dark red-brown, orange head. Aroma is burnt sugar and some sour notes. The taste is moderately sweet with notes of molasses, dark fruit and a more or less pleasant tartness, possibly some lactic.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown in colour. Raisins, chocolate and some slightly smoky notes in the aroma. Blackcurrant, raisins, cocoa and ash in the taste. Quite full bodied and enjoyable.

Big, offwhite head. Clear amber body. Strawy earthy papery aroma with plastic notes. Dry-sweet spicy papery strawy taste with earthy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy fruity aftertaste with papery earthy spicy notes. Nice, interesting, Latvian. (0.5l bottle, from Rimi.)

Small offwhite head. Clear deep yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity earthy papery aroma with herbal mealy notes. Dry peppery mealy taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry wooden papery earthy aftertaste with mealy spicy notes. Interesting. Delicate and a bit too papery. (0.5l bottle, from Rimi.)

50cl bottle from some Rimi in Riga. Pours almost completely clear deep golden to amber, with a fairly modest, white head. Mild malty aroma with fruity notes and hints of honey and yeast. Medium sweet with fairly mild flavours and a light bitterness. Hardly very exciting, but certainly a step up from the usual pale lagers. 0,5 l bottle bought at Grüne Woche 2015, Berlin. Pours out clear golden in the in the glass with a huge white head. Okay, not a very longliving one. Grassy nose. Taste is malt, grain, grassy, on a low level. High carbonated. Thin aftertaste. Think I will not remember.
